CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE UNLEASHED ON THE UK

The stunning new right-hand drive Chrysler Crossfire arrived in the UK this week, with dealers set to unveil the two-seat sensation on 15 November.

Simon Elliott, Managing Director of Chrysler and Jeep in the UK, said: "The Crossfire is our first all new product for three years, and heralds a new direction for the Chrysler brand. The Chrysler Crossfire combines expressive American design and personality with technology, performance and proportions ideally suited for the UK market.

"While the appearance of Crossfire will attract the hearts of sports car fans worldwide, it has been designed to be much more than just a pretty face. It offers a unique blend of performance and head-turning design plus air conditioning, leather seats, stereo system and six airbags as standard.

"It’s no surprise that we have had significant customer orders already. The original allocation of cars has sold out, so we have already had to ask for extra production."

The Crossfire, powered by a 3.2-litre, V6 engine, can hit 62mph in just 6.5 seconds and has a top speed of 155mph. It is available as both a six-speed manual for £27,260 and five-speed automatic for £28,500.
