Fiat Auto has announced substantial price reductions across a broad range of its genuine parts. Taking effect from 1 July 2001, the price of almost 700 service-related original fitment Fiat and Alfa Romeo parts for vehicles now out of production will be cut by up to 20%.
These reductions affect Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Fiat Commercial Vehicles, with model coverage including Punto, Cinquecento, Uno, Tipo and Ducato; and Alfa Romeo 145, 146, 155 and 164.
By way of example, the retail price of Punto brake pads has been reduced from £33.41 to £28.43, and Cinquecento brake pads from £27.16 to £23.09.
Andy Hayward, Fiat Auto UK’s Parts Marketing Manager says: "We are again demonstrating that this sector of our business is under increasing focus.
"It is well recognised within the motor industry, that there is a trend for 3-year-plus vehicles to ‘migrate’ from the franchised dealer network. With these actions we are proving to our partners in the repair industry that Fiat and Alfa Romeo Genuine Parts are an affordable choice.
"Reducing the price of these parts in this area of our business by up to 20% shows real commitment to our strategy of increasing customer retention and loyalty to our brands."
