Jeep has revised its 2006 Grand Cherokee model range with pricing starting from £26,490.
The 2006 Grand Cherokee range consists of ‘Predator Edition’, Limited and Overland. The entry-level ‘Predator Edition’ features a list of standard equipment that makes the Grand Cherokee more affordable than ever before.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee ‘Predator Edition’ is available with the 3.0-litre CRD engine and features air-con, driver’s eight-way powered seat, electric windows, front fog lamps, heated and power folding door mirrors, 17” ‘Orbitek’ alloy wheels and tyre pressure warning system.
The Grand Cherokee Limited 3.0-litre CRD is priced at £30,035. In addition to the Predator specification, Limited models feature leather trimmed seats and steering wheel, 17” ‘Ronin’ alloy wheels, auto–dimming rear view mirror, premium Boston acoustics sound system and steering wheel mounted audio controls, dual zone air-conditioning and front and rear park assist.
The stunning new version of the Grand Cherokee – the Overland – is the top of the range luxury model and is available with both the 3.0-litre CRD and 5.7-litre HEMI petrol engines.
On the outside, platinum finish door mirror housings, platinum chrome roof side rails and rear bumper, body coloured rock rails, 18 inch ‘Battalion’ alloy wheels and a honeycomb texture platinum colour grille help give the Grand Cherokee Overland its striking look.
On the inside the Overland features new, firmer two-tone leather and suede trimmed seats with embroidered ‘Overland’ logo, sunroof, leather wrapped door panels with leather and real wood applications on the dashboard. A leather steering wheel with real wood, leather wrapped handbrake and leather covered centre armrest all help create a sumptuous interior to cosset driver and passengers.
Steve Gray, Marketing Director for Chrysler Group, said: “The Grand Cherokee range offers customers great value in a very competitive market. The new Overland model, with its soft-touch premium interior and elegant platinum-accented exterior, takes the Grand Cherokee to new heights yet still manages to represent great value for money.”
The new Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland is available from April with either the 3.0-litre CRD or 5.7-litre HEMI petrol engines and is priced at £33,535 for the diesel and £37,035 for the HEMI.
