The addition of the new Saab 93 Convertible to the widely-acclaimed 93 Sport Saloon line-up helped propel Saab last year to its second best-ever global sales performance.
Buoyed by the worldwide enthusiasm for its products, Saab is moving into the fastest, most comprehensive and most ambitious product development plan it has ever carried out.
At the Sunday Times Motor Show Live visitors will be able to see for themselves at close range what it is about the Swedish manufacturer’s attention to the detail of its products that has seen UK sales climb regularly over previous monthly and annual performances.
Although the Saab 9-3 Convertible has been on sale since late last year, the Motor Show will be the first time that the new generation Saab range of 9-3 Sport Saloon, 9-3 Convertible and 9-5 Saloon and Estate have come together as a family.
Significantly Saab will also be previewing an important new Euro4 common rail TiD diesel engine in the 9-3 Sport Saloon, set to shack up the mid-size premium diesel sector with ultra competitive positioning when its launched later this year.
A Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible will feature as the Hero Car of the Motropolis Live Action arena, giving visitors to the Show an opportunity to see this performance 210 bhp soft-top being puts through its paces.
The Saab 9-5 range will be represented by the popular Estate, plus the 2004 9-5 Aero Saloon, the UK’s best selling premium performance four-door car.
