Škoda Auto today is releasing the first photo of its newest car, named the Škoda Superb. A wheelbase of 2800mm and an overall length of 4800mm mean that the Škoda Superb is an executive-sized car, competing at the top end of the upper medium segment.

It is more than 80 years since Škoda first produced cars in this segment of the marketplace, with the name Superb first used by Škoda in 1934 for one of its large saloon cars. The debut of the Škoda Superb will recapture Škoda’s successful engineering past as well as emphasising the strength of the brand today.

The exciting new Škoda Superb will be unveiled at the IAA International Motor Show in Frankfurt on 11 September. The presentation will take place at 12.30, at the Škoda stand in Hall 6, with more details of the new car available then.
