SUZUKI’S NEW GENERATION SUPER SCOOTER GOES ON SALE

Suzuki GB has released the very latest version of its mighty AN400 Burgman scooter at a retail price of £4699.00 (including on-the-road costs).

In a class of its own, the Suzuki Burgman incorporates groundbreaking performance with a functional design combining style with luxurious comfort.

The Suzuki super scooter offers a new generation of transport marrying the convenient scooter concept of simple twist and go fully automatic transmission with a high-performance, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 385cc, 4-stroke engine.

For 2001, the AN400 Burgman has an increased underseat luggage area providing a massive 53-litre space that will happily accommodate two full-face helmets or one A3 size briefcase. The luggage compartment also features the facility to store small items such as tools, owners manual and pens. A lamp built into the underside of the seat effectively illuminates the luggage area.

Both rider and passenger are spoilt for comfort on the Burgman. The rider's seat comes with a contoured backrest providing lateral support that can easily be adjusted backwards and forwards in five quick steps and the newly-designed, adjustable windscreen air vent assists in providing outstanding wind protection, allowing the rider to control the air flow to suit different speeds and weather conditions. The pillion gets a thickly padded backrest and new frame mounted grab bar and the larger pillion footboards are comfortable for all passengers.

With plenty of mid-range torque delivering bags of pulling power, a touring range and performance normally associated with some larger capacity sports-touring motorcycles coupled with outstanding fuel economy, the Suzuki Burgman AN400 offers the mobility solution of the future.

The 2002 specification AN400 Burgman is available now in two colour ways – silver or blue - and further information can be obtained from any one of Suzuki’s 168 authorised motorcycle dealers.
